Miles Claiborne grew up in Downey around cars. His father bought them, sold them, hauled them, and towed them, so weekends meant engines, trailers, and learning the language of vehicles. Detailing entered the picture in his teens, when a family friend put a wash mitt in his hand and summers turned into work.

Years later, Miles came back to the craft to build something of his own. He started as Eco Detailing, a name born from a genuine love of taking care of the environment, and grew it one driveway at a time across Los Angeles and the South Bay. Today the business carries a name that means even more to him. SoCal was his father’s word, and it stuck.

Ask Miles why he details and he will tell you it feels like making a canvas look good again. The moment a client walks around the finished car, sees the before and after, and just says thank you, that is the whole reason. This is craftsmanship, not car washing.
